Kathleen D. Schneider is the founder of the Law Offices of Kathleen D. Schneider in Pittsburgh’s Regent Square neighborhood, where she has maintained her practice since 1995. Uniquely qualified as both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant, Kathleen brings extensive financial depth to family law matters, estate planning, tax law, and small business representation. Early in her career, she worked at a national public accounting firm, provided tax counsel at Mellon Bank, and worked for the Federal Reserve Bank. Her family law practice encompasses both traditional and collaborative divorce and mediation, with particular expertise serving LGBTQ+ families in matters of divorce, adoption, prenuptial agreements, and estate planning. Kathleen is a founding member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania and is committed to resolving issues outside of court wherever possible.
